i really dont think the recap will be enough. theres just to much to Lost to know everything from the recaps, imo.

start recording them to watch after you catch up, you'll enjoy every minute (of catching up) believe me!

Ditto. There's just way to much to get caught up in one episode.

No, it's not too late. It's a great show even if you only understand some of what is going on. You can catch up by reading show summaries on the internet if there is something you just really need to know to put pieces together. But bottom line, this cerebral show content is actually very generous to new viewers considering all it's complexities, you won't catch all the little details like all the long term fans have already, but I am sure a good recap will get you hooked. It's the best show ever.

it's not too late, but you'll have to work at it a bit to catch all the subtlties. I started watching at the beginning of this season and I have turned into a total lost junkie.

Rent season 1 when you have a chance, and read up on what happened already. www.lost-forum.com is a good site and breaks everything down by episode so you can get a good idea of what is going on as well as catch up on some of the different theories.
