I am going to go to Mexico in May and I can't decide between the two. Any opinions would be appreciated!! Also should I go with an all-inclusive place or not?? Is it a good deal??
Cabo! Totlly beautiful upscale, gorgeous beach good restaurants,. We just had a wonderrul time there it was so nice and clean and warm. Also I didn't feel like I was constantly being asked to buy things. Personally I wouldn't go allinclusive because then you are kind of stuck there, and I like to go to all kinds of places. It is very American some people like that some people find that a problem. But I loved it there!
Cabo, Cabo, Cabo! I've been there 5 times over the last 7 years or so, and I love it every time. Even though it's gotten super touristy, and they've built a giant mall, you can't beat the atmosphere. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, everyone's very friendly, and it has a lively night life. I've heard bad things about Cancun being very dirty. Just make sure if you go to Cabo that you don't end up in a hotel in San Jose Del Cabo, or along the corridor. When you make your reservations, make sure you confirm that your hotel is either ON Playa Medano, or in downtown Cabo (on the marina is okay too). Let me know if you have any questions!
Never been to Cabo, but I've been to Cancun and didn't care for it. The food sucked, the hotels weren't that nice - I just didn't think it was any place great. Based on what the other girls said, I think Cabo is your safer bet.

My sister went to Cancun this last summer and said the same thing, it just sucked. She said that she liked Puerto Vallarta a lot better. Don't know anyone personally that has been to Cabo but it sounds nicer than Cancun.
I want to go to Cabo for my 21st bday (depends on my friend's budget... again) but I don't want it to be too touristy. I went to Hawaii already and even though I liked it, it seemed impersonal. We'll see what'll come up in the next few days.
