OK, i figure if i post this, maybe i'll stick to it. Here's what i want as of now:
i figure these will be cute with dresses and skirts, as well as shorts
i love this- waiting for it to go down more...
one of the above bags for a carry on, haven't chosen yet
either a pair of Joe's jeans or paige jeans
maybe this- depends on a LOT of things- price, looks in person, my cash situation at the time, how many "celebs" are carrying it ()
maybe a black cardigan or basic cashmere crewneck
a white button down of sorts
*a pair of really cute COMFY leather slides that i will wear all the time, at this point, i don't care if they are $$$, but i want to love them- i wanted some brown suede miu miu ones last year and i regret that i never found them
if these are ever on ebay again, i want them in green
funky but basic WARM cardigans- i'm always cold here!
*this plain speckled tee from anthro- for some reason i love it
*basic floaty or slouchy tops, tunics, and dresses, maybe something with a sweet floral print on it.
*cut off light wash denim shorts- i might have to brave abercrombie for these
as you can see, i'm already over winter! other than a couple more sweaters, i'm done!
The only clothes on my list are pants. I hate buying them because it's rare that they fit right and they're usually a dull purchase. So, in January I need to assess my top situation and determine 2-3 types of pants to buy.
Other than that, my plans are to:
1. only buy accessories to make my current clothes more interesting, like
2. Wear what I already own. I tend to grab the same things, even though I like everything in my closet. I have so many things I have only worn once.
For the next few months, I only plan on buying two things.
LV Speedy 30 (maybe a 25, depending on how small a 30 makes me look. I'm only 5'1 and kind of slender, so I'll make my decision when I get to the store.)
These Chanel sunglasses in black (not from this site... it's the only picture I could find). I never really liked oversized frames before last summer, when I got white Coach Samanthas... now I'm addicted. I want a new pair of black sunglasses, and I've always wanted a pairof Chanel sunglasses. Since I'm trying to buy more investment pieces, I figure now is the time!
-a couple cheapie vneck or scoopneck cardis and maybe a nice cardiwrap
-black leather bag (maybe Tano or Mitzi Baker)
-big belt like the Jocasi one sephorablue has
-some nice sunglasses, possibly the Coach ones with the daisy
-shorts that are cute not hoochie...so hard to find! I saw a bunch at F21 but they didn't have back pockets and they looked weird. I found a pair I liked but they didn't have my size. Probably a couple of Johnson looking ones and two pairs of denim that aren't soooo short.
-cute flats...probably one pair of nicer ballet flat type and a couple sandals and some Havainas.
-brown wedges like the Seychelles ones but not so $
-more jeans that actually fit good...probably AE or some thrift store Sevens that I think I will check out tommorrow at this cute resale store by my house

Based on some of the mags that I've been looking at, there doesn't seem to be so much change. Of course, maybe I'll feel differently when I see these things in person. But SO FAR, it looks as if I'm set for the season, except maybe I'll add a few more gauchos and wedges.
I'm already thinking about spring/summer. I have plenty of clothes for any season, so I'm trying to focus on assessories and building my vintage collection over the next few months. I'm not sure what I want yet, but I'll know it when I see it.
There are only a few clothing items I've got my eye on right now. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll go on sale sooner or later.
I love the movie Slapshot, so I'm also wanting this thermal.
I'll also need a few pairs of shoes for spring/summer, I'm anxious to see what comes out.
I'm basically planning on having a year of summer next year with study abroad, so that's pretty much all I want to buy. I plan on looking hot in Sri Lanka cause everyone else will be wearing ugly linen stuff they got at Old Navy (I'll admit I did this in India). If I'm spending 5 months somewhere I want to look nice. I have to wear pants, skirts that are at least mid calf, and shirts with sleeves. On my list...
Lightweight sweaters...
Tropical weather appropriate pants...
Shirts...
Long skirts...I haven't found any I like yet.
This bathing suit... (I have what is essentially the brown two piece version of this and love it.)
a perfect fitting white oxford a pair of super dark jeans a white bag (maybe a chanel classic if i can keep other spending to a minimum) a black wrap dress an ivory sweater of some sort a fun colored blazer an interview appropraite suit (saw a gorgeous black brown theory one that I adore, but would like to find it for cheaper or w/a code)
*COH Simone jeans. I just bought the Collette jeans, which are the new version of Kelly jeans and the Simone are the new version of Ingrids. I like them a lot better because they are stretchier (the fit is more "tight" and they don't bag out) and the inseams are 35"... perfect for me.
*Dark wide leg or trouser jeans
*A VS Very Sexy bikini... I love how the Very Sexy bras look on me so hopefully the inspired bathing suits are similar. I check everyday if the new swimwear line is posted on line.
*A really simple black fabric clutch. I have some cool brooches that would look great pinned on a purse.
*A frame bag. I love the ones Glenda Gies makes out of vintage fabrics. These are my favorites.
Grey Skinny drainpipe jeans 'a la Kate/Sienna, worn scrunched with flats/heels or tucked into boots (can only find a pic of V.B. for now) - Tsubi or Sass & Bide (pref a cheaper k.o.)
A bed frame would be nice.. i've been eyeing this platform bed for a while but $549 + $100 S&H seems a bit much for that piece...
*Lusting for* Christian Louboutin black patent heels as seen on MK&A. maybe a knock-off at a better $$?
I am in dire need of some long sleeve shirts. Turtlenecks, v-necks, scoop necks, thermals....I need some. I seriously have like 4 long sleeve shirts right now.
