That's exactly my color, my stylist doesn't call it in one word, he mixes red (not mahogany red, but copper red), copper and gold...so, ...coppery red? golden red? But the undertones are indeed copper, not reddish, it's the stylist's task to mix right.

It looks like there's brown undertones and some golden highlights on the ends. I'd just take the photo with me to the colorist and let her use it as a reference. My idea of auburn could be radically different than your colorist's idea.
Did you see that interview? How whacked out is it to find out that you have a baby half sister on national television? They are one messed up family.
My problem is finding a good colorist in this small town I live in. The one I go to is good, but she is timid. I showed her this picture and she put some red in my hair, but it does not look like this. I have used just about every colorist in my hometown and the town where I work. I wish I could figure out how to do this myself.

Ask the colorist to show you the color catalog: each brand (at least from my experience: that's how I started, picked myself. Now I found a good guy who just knows how to mix, does it different each time I'm there, once with more purple in it, once with more copper, but the result is great, like you see on this nut's head), so....every color brand usually has 2 pages for reds: mahogany and coppers, so I pick only from coppers, that's the base color, just pick to your liking : darker, medium, lighter. The colorist either will use this color as is, or mix in it a bit more red/copper/gold...but at least start with the base, see how it works on your hair.
