It's so funny b/c I PM'd Nylabelle and said congrats to her for her new job, and was thinking about how I always get stuck with crappy ones...so my fiance tells me about an opportunity he learned about through a coworker, I applied, and BAM - hired!


I'm a Loan Processor and apparently this company is picky about who they hire - they made an offer the day after my interview!  My criminal background check isn't even back yet!  And the pay is so much better than I've ever had, I'm not used to this!!  (good time for a weird icon)


[Former jobs: retail (not management), renting cars, administrative assistant for a staffing agency, in-store bank teller, insurance rep for an agent.  All crappy with low pay...] Oh and now when my co-worker talks about food (the one who yelled out 'GOD I LOVE FOOD SO MUCH!') I can go !

Thanks!  January 3rd - exactly 2 weeks from today.  I just broke the news to the boss, who decided the reason I'm leaving is b/c I'm insecure and have leftover issues from my parents' divorce 10 years ago, so I think a new job will help me feel better about myself.  See why I'm leaving?

Congratulations! What a great story! And I cannot BELIEVE your boss said that... Just smile and say something like "You must really enjoy psychiatry. Wow. How sweet of you to take an interest in me in this way. I've always appreciated your mentoring. Can I count on you for a reference?" Then get it in writing before you leave (can't trust crazy) and know in your heart that he will never get a better job and SUCKS.
