My husband and I go to Disney World every year in May, so it is very easy to dress.  I just wear shorts, tops, and sneakers for comfort.  Well, we are going on our first winter vacation in a long time to Nashville, Tennessee during November to the Opryland Hotel Christmas.  I am stressing over what to wear.  Most of it will be very casual.  I am okay with the tops--I am going to take sweaters, long sleeve tops, jackets, etc.  I would really like to wear skinny jeans and boots, but my problem is with bloating.  When I eat more than usual, as I will on this vacation, I have problems with stomach bloat, making skinny jeans a little uncomfortable.  My question is, do you ladies just wear your skinny jeans anyway and cover up the bloat with a longer sweater?  biggrin    Skinny jeans make up most of my jeans wardrobe.  Can anyone give me suggestions other than going out and buying a size larger just for this vacation? Thank you.

Do you have a pair of dark wash skinny jeans that have a lot of stretch in them? Really cheap jeans, like those at FF21 seem to have more than normal stretch. Some of them stretch out horribly, but the $20 ones hold their shape for me pretty well. I'd save my most comfortable skinny jeans to wear exclusively for dinner/going out at night. If I felt bloated, I'd probably skip any clingy tops too. Who wants to feel uncomfortable on vacation?

Are you worried about being physically uncomfortable, or about disguising the bloat visually?

Visually, I agree with Boots about skipping clingy tops, which shouldn't be too hard in winter - sweaters and layering!

If it's that you're afraid of being physically uncomfortable, but don't want to buy whole new pants, maybe a button extender would help?

What about a pair of thick ponte knit pants? Would that be any more comfortable?

It is really about comfort.  Kelly, a button extender is a perfect idea.  I had not thought of that.  I will get one.  I think that will be the perfect solution.

And when you finish eating, you can excuse yourself to the ladies' room to "freshen up and extend my pants."

Maybe pick up a high quality pair of leggings. Even though you can't extend them, they're usually comfortable.
I like HUE's premium ones with the wide waistband.

I visited SO's family this past weekend and MAN I wish I would have gotten a button extender! I just packed skinny jeans because I severely underestimated how much I was going to eat and eat and eat. A few times I went to the bedroom to lay down just so I could unbutton my pants. Yikes.
