Well, here I am again. In the toasts & roasts section with a roast. I'll try to post more toasts in the future.

Some of you may have already seen my mention of this on FB.

I ordered 2 pairs on Friday, 10/19, from Shoebuy.com. Pair number 1 shipped out late Tuesday, which, IMO, is already pushing it in this day and age. Not only that, it shipped out from Ontario. I live in Charlotte. It is supposed to arrive on Friday (a week from when I ordered it).

I don't know how companies like Shoebuy are still in existence with places like Amazon shipping a couple hours after you place your order.

The other pair? Oh, it's still "in process," and it is almost noon on Wednesday. This is ridiculous! 

Yes, I'm up-in-arms because I am going on a trip on Saturday night. I have no appropriate shoes for where I am going, and none of the stores carry these stinkin' shoes.

I ordered from Piperlime on Friday also, and their package arrived on Monday, midday.

Oh god. I just looked at Shoebuy's FB wall. I am now officially sweating.
I don't remember having this kind of trouble with them in the past!

Okay. So, out of the two pairs I ordered, only one came in time for my trip to London. I was lucky in that the pair that came (Squall by Earth) worked out very well. I liked them and found them comfortable enough to keep them and not worry about the Born pair in transit. I've worn the Earth pair every day in London, and they've been fantastic. I'm so glad they worked out because I would've had to switch out half of my wardrobe for this trip because I have nothing else that goes with skinny jeans and leggings that is comfortable and appropriate for cold, rainy weather.
