Joe and I have READ the manuals, we even called the Sony store so they could 'attempt' to help us, but the date/time just WILL NOT set on our camera. It'll set for maybe a few seconds, then it'll go back to default mode of Jan. 1, 2005! It's driving me crazy. It's the holidays, and I just want the date to be reflected on the pictures we'll be taking,, so any HELP would be greatly appreciated.

This is really hard because every one is different, but when I take my batteries out for a while, it will automatically prompt me to re-set the time & date. Maybe you could try that?

Hmmm....YES! I could do that too, the Sony tech. told us to take them out, but only for a few seconds, and put them back in, so..... How long did you have yours out?! And thanks for the response!
