In my last apartment i had title in the kitchen and entryway that was a color that you couldn't see dirt. In my new apt., I also have title in the entry way and kitchen but it is white. I hate it, I clean it all the time because it always gets dirty. Plus right after I clean it, I feel like it is dirty again. I wondering what everyone else uses on their tile to clean it?
I'm slow, because I'm not sure if you mean vinyl tiles or ceramic/stone with grout. If you're talking about the later, then read on... if not, just ignore me .
We have a very beige house... very beige. Our kitchen has light beige tiles with white grout. The higher-traffic areas are a little harder to keep clean, but we try to make it look as good as possible. Someone cleans it a little everyday with the Swiffer wet jet. When we notice that it's looking a little dingy, we use a bleach pen in the grout lines... that usually does the trick. I'm not sure if it's just in my house, but light tiles just seem like a pain in the bum. Sorry I couln't help. At least I can sympathize
You can use amonia in a bucket of hot water to mop it with, but I just "spot mop" with a chlorox wipe and use my foot. That would work during the week to take care of little messes, until you can mop on the weekend. I do like the Mr. Clean's orange stuff.
i'm a dork, but i asked for a scumbuster for christmas. it works great on bathtubs especially, but also tile and the kitchen sink. we have white tile with white grout bathroom floor and i hate it. i hate cleaning the bathroom for this reason. here's a picture. it works amazing!
it's $39.99 at target. hth!
i plan on using the scumbuster with a bleach solution for the white tile.
