MJR Sales was doing a free shipping promo so I got a pair of black slingback peep toe office pumps, a basic ribbed tank to try (really need more than one, but I don't want to buy an armload without trying it on first), a print sleeveless summer top, and a red jersey midi dress that I may hem if I don't like the length. For my friend's wedding in September:

First, I bought this from Lord and Taylor. Still iffy.

Then, I Rented the Runway. If they don't work I can return for credit (minus the shipping).

Then, I found exactly what I was looking for from a Halston sample sale...

I lost my favorite necklace a few weeks ago. My SIL gave it to me last Christmas and I must have worn it at least 2-3x a week since then. 3 weeks ago I realized that it was gone. I've been hoping that it would turn up, but so far nothing so I bit the bullet and bought a new one. Luckily the etsy seller still made them. But you just know that I'll find the original one now, right?

I know, that's why I had to order it again. I tore my house apart searching for it. It's just the perfect mix of dressed up and casual.

The seller is petitor. I've ordered other items from her and have been pleased with her work. She's changed the page since I ordered it yesterday. Now she's taking preorders on it due to popularity and it's taking until next week to ship out. Apparently I've started a trend or something. hmm

I ordered the orginal one (well, my SIL bought if for me but I picked it out) from a different seller, jennijewel. But she is now making her version thicker and shorter. I don't like it as much.

IAPT- Love the monogrammed necklace and I think it's sweet that you went the extra effort to add something with your DH's initial when you discovered he was a little hurt.

I really want a blue blazer, but am having trouble finding the perfect one. I think this one will work until I come across the right one. It still counts as shopping if I bought it for someone to give me for my birthday, right?
