1 - For a smoother braid, brush your hair out first.

2 - for a messier braid, leave the natural texture and separate the hair with your fingers.
3 - Create a ponytail using a clear elastic.

THE FISHTAIL BRAID TUTORIAL

4 - Split the ponytail into tow separate pieces.
5 - Take a piece frome the 1st side and pass it ti the 2and side.
6 - Take a piece from the 2nd side and pass it back to tje 1st side.

7 - Keep taking a piece from one side to the other don't stop until you reach the end.
8 - once you've finished your braid, go in with your scissors and CAREFULLY cut the clear elastic at the top.

I will never understand how to do this. I have tried and tried and tried but maybe my hair is too fine? It looks like a lot of work for the end result (messy, slightly different than a braid but not really).

My mom use to braid my hair like then when I was younger. I will forever associate it with elementary school. :)
