Heels 3.5"-4" You'll almost NEVER see me in sneakers or flats unless I'm at the gym or camping I wore my Nike AirF1s to work earlier this year & people couldn't believe I was only 5".
Skirts, I think I went through 2 years of Jr-High School of not wearing pants.
Highlights: I always have highlighs in my hair, I feel naked w/o them.
I like to think of myself as a girly-girl, I like to dress up and do my hair. I try not too look too much hoochie-mama, but after baby, my body was blessed in certain places, so even if I'm not revealing anything, people say I look sexy & jerks make rude comments, so I'm trying to dress down now.
-hair in a center part, slightly tucked behind my ears. I hate hair in my face. 1/2 the time I wear it down and the other 1/2 in a messy bun/ponytail
-always cool earrings. Sometimes pretty little studs, but mostly big (sometimes obnoxious) earrings.
-jeans or denim skirts. Sometimes a printed or corduroy skirt but never really pants.
-dressy casual. I always feel a little overdressed but I wouldn't have it any other way.
-not a lot of makeup. I feel weird with a ton of eye makeup and I like to avoid the "Are you sick?"/"You look tired" comments so I just don't wear a lot in the first place.
-Halleybird's reminded me that I have a lot of metallic shoes. Right now I think I have 2 silver, 4 gold, and 1 bronze.

-Metallic shoes, especially silver and especially during the day. I own four (?) pairs of silver shoes, and only one is for evening. I have owned at least 1 pair of silver shoes continuously since I was about 14.
-brighter colors, especially kelly green, turquoise and hot pink. They help me look less pale.
-This is not a positive one, but probably pants that are too short. I can never find long pants in my size. I usually won't leave the house unless they cover at least half my heel, but I always feel like they're too short!

My signatures would be my perfume (Hiris - Hermes) No one else wears it and I wear it every day and have done so since it launched.
Blush every day. Sunscreen (SPF 30) everday - I live in LA and am a pale person.
Short flippy hair with ever changing permutations of subtle highlights every six weeks. I have sort of an early sixties Jackie O cut w/o the bangs.
The two constants in my wardrobe would be wrap style blouses and camisoles. I love wrap blouses and sweaters and collect compusively when I see them. I guess it's my repressed longing to have been forced to stick with ballet longer that I did :)
I have sort of dual identity in my work clothing and my weekend clothing. Work clothing is sort of "girly corporate" or "gamine" with lots of pinks and creams with fitted trousers or skirts. Also work has cool heels generally. And jewelry - I love necklaces and am working on building the collection. My rings are my wedding and engagement.
Weekend is kittenheels in jeans or skirts and ballet flats (to save my back) and fitted tops.
Things that people always notice about me and are my signatures are my
obsession with big bags! I swear I would go to a bar with a duffle bag if it was cute!!!
Always in heels over 3" when I go out. My friends have no idea how I walk when I am drinking! I think heels are so sexy. I love wearing them. I wear them to work everyday!
I'm always trying to mix up my look a little bit, but there are a few constants to my look.
Layers, layers, layers! I never wear just one shirt... ever. In the winter, I'm usually wearing 3-4 tops. In the summer, 2-3 (not bulky layers, usually I'll wear a couple of beaters or J Crew tissure tees/tanks).
Big bags are another one of my signatures.
Flip flops... as soon as the weather permits in the spring, I break 'em out. Then I wear them every chance I get.
This one is just a summer thing: scarves or grosgrain ribbon tied around my wrist instead of a bracelet. For some reason, I hate to fuss with jewelry in the hot months, but a bare arm just looks funny to me. If I'm wearing a sleaveless/tube top, I'll sometimes tie the ribbon/scarf around my upper arm (just above the elbow). Inspired by SJP on a few episodes of SATC.
-my Nixon "Small Ticket" watch, I only take it off to shower.
-being "fashiony", I don't consider myself super fashiony, (some of you girls blow me away) but for my town I am. But I am known at school and work for being on top of trends and wearing something different everyday. Also for having lots of shoes.
-wearing Anna Sui's Dolly Girl perfume. My best friend followed a stranger in a mall b/c she thought she "smelled me".
-my height. At 5'10" thats always what people notice. Natalie who? The tall one. Ah yes!
My hair. I would say this is the number one thing. No matter what the color, it's always long. And it's very thick. People get obsessed with my hair.
Heels. Like a few other girls, people don't realize that I'm only 5'6". Even if I'm in flats, people think I'm taller. I guess I look taller than what I actually am, regardless of the heel height.
Color. I love lots of color and hardly ever wear neutrals. But of all colors, I probably wear purple the most. I almost always have some kind of purple item on (even if it's just an accessory). I just love purple and I always have. Probably the only time I don't wear something purple is when I'm wearing my other obsession, pink and brown.
My style in general. Most of the time, it's pretty unique and fashion conscious. When I left my old job, people told me they would miss seeing me in my fabulous outfits everyday. That made me feel good. Friends also expect me to be able to dress them in the coolest outfits, especially for going out.
Jewelry. Since I make it, people expect me to have cool jewelry. Although, right now I'm lacking since I didn't have the cash to make new stuff for fall. I have to work overtime to stock up for fall, holiday and winter.
