which would you pick? i painted them for my renderings class (basically just looked at a painting and copied it), and like them because they are handpainted- i prefer that look over framed prints.
i'm thinking between these two:
not as big.. but might look better over my dresser with the anthro white coral drawer pulls? more rustic? though i have a big canvas on it that my mom painted- i like that but i could put that over my bed..
or keep the big canvas still life on my dresser and put this over my bed:
those weren't my faves- i liked these but they don't really go as much:
i could pair the two deco ladies in two frames next to each other. of course- then i'd probably have to add some color to the blue lady because its a little more muted than the yellow lady. and for some reason...i think one big pic would be nicer?
Wow, those are all great...and I love the art deco ladies! I know this is gonna sound crazy but if you ever do one of the ladies in a purplish hue I would love to buy it from you.

Leon Bakst
sunshinegirl- yes that is a bakst rendering! i had to do two other bakst paintings as well- the Bakst paintings were the most challenging. i also did some christian lacroix drawings, the art deco ladies, and some star wars costume design characters, as well as a few other landscapes.

i'll let you know. the outline of the character is taken from a photocopy (ie, i looked at it and drew it myself, didn't photocopy it or trace it but it wasn't my design), but we got to paint it how we chose. maybe i could make prints =)
