We do every year - I really love the my hubby doesn't think I'm stupid for wanting to do so. If you do - what is your favorite? I can't help but love Charlie Brown, but really I can't pick a favorite. I love them all.
We watched Rudolph tonight & really couldn't help but notice - all the adults including Santa are kinda dicks. No wonder we are a generation full of rebels against authority
Dizzy, I thought about you being Herbie the wanna be dentist the whole time - I couldn't help it!

I like the same Rudolph one (claymation, right?), Charlie Brown, Frosty. The muppets version of The Scrooge is good, too.
Did anyone every see "The Christmas Toy"? Where all the toys come to life when nobodies watching and then worry about all the new toys coming after Christmas and have to get downstairs to see what lies ahead? No? Just me then?
The other Christmas movies I like aren't cartoons - National Lampoon, Home Alone, etc.

I love the classics! I actually got the combo pack last Christmas that has Rudolph, Frosty, Frosty Returns, Little Drummer Boy, and Santa Clause Is Coming to town
I haven't been able to watch these in the last 5 years or so because of work (when I had 2 jobs) and I really missed that. But now, since I have a full-time "normal" job, I get to
My favorite out of all of them is probably Rudolph. I also really liked the California Raisins Christmas one when I was a kid.
I like the Rudolph one, Snoopy, and whatever happened to the Garfield Christmas where they go to Jon's mom's house? I really liked that one too. Oh, and the Mickey's Christmas Carol is cute.

LOL,this was one of my favorites as a child.I have not seen it in years though.
Like Rudolf and frosty, but my all time favorite is a Charlie brown Christmas. I have it on dvd and watch it all year round. I'm such a dork (hangs head in shame).

those rudolph claymation ones (is there a new years baby one too?) creep me out and depress me like whoa. something about their voices and the sound effects and the ways its always night or dark in the scenes. that said, i always watch them.
yes i watch those if iam not at work, it brings back good memories but than it makes me realize how old iam getting yikes I love Rudolf and frosty the snowman
There are only three that I like: Rudolph, the Peanuts one, and one called "The Night Before Christmas" or something like that I loved it when I was little, and it brings back all the good Christmas memories.

We watched rudolph too, and couldn't believe all the racist and sexist undertones. Rudolph's dad is such an a$$! If I were his reindeer wife, I would smack him. Something I obviously didn't pick up on when I was little. And we also concluded that herbie is gay. He's my absolute favorite! We have a herbie ornament for our tree.
So yes, we do watch them, and Charlie Brown still makes me cry!!

Yea!!! My avatar!!! I bought this on used vhs from Amazon and I have been holidng off on wtching it, I think it's close enough to x-mas to watch now though! We do have it on vhs from when we taped off tv when I was like 5, but It's so old, I had to buy a new one!!! So cute yet so creepy at the same time (the movie, not me for watching it!! lol)
PS. I have the ABC Family Channel holiday movie and cartoon x-mas schedule printed out and hung up on my wall!!! I also kind of use it as an advent calendar.

I love this idea & thanks for sharing.
BTW, what's up with that scary caveman & dinosaurs in Rudolph's Shiny New Year? I should watch that again because for the life of me I can't figure out what cavemen / dinosaurs have to do with Rudolph or New Years?
