STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Hi everyone!  I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I used to post quite often a few years ago.  I recognize almost everyone on here- funny how deep some memories go.  I was looking at old posts and laughing at boys forgotten, clothes I no longer own, problems I no longer have.. like a mini time capsule before Facebook and the onslaught of social media.  My first REAL internet community.  I'm happy that D still has this up and to see everyone again.

I guess I don't have any real reason for disappearing other than feeling kind of cynical/jaded by fashion in general.  I was (kind of still am) working in fashion in NY and have been surprised by it (in unexpected ways- some things are amazing, some less so.)  I feel a bit lifted out of my funk though, so it's no longer painful for me to think about it :)  It was no one's fault in particular- certainly not my employers', or the fashion community, or even media at large- I just felt like I needed a break from it all.

Anyway- I've been lurking for the past few weeks and wanted to say Hi again, so that if you saw me posting you wouldn't be like, What?  Who is that ghost?  Feel free to send me a message or email if you'd like to catch up :)
