Board games! We always play scrabble or cranium. Another kookie tradition we have is watching the Sound of Music. Last year we mixed it up and watched Elf. I that movie.
I like making christmas cookies during the weekend too - it's a fun activity for the kiddies.
My husband will be doing most of the cooking, so my parents and I will probably have a bunch of free time on our hands. I imagine we'll go for a walk around the lake near my house, play Scrabble, do yardwork (they love doing yardwork), and I just recently got them hooked on Lost, so I'm sure we'll be watching some of the Lost Season 1 dvds.
um, football. lots o football on thanksgiving day. my mom and i traditionally watch the macy's parade all morning while cooking. also, we usually watch "christmas vacation"--"grace? she died thirty years ago!"
We're probably going to rent a whole stack of movies...so far it seems like Napoleon Dynamite and some of the star Wars movies will be getting play. Maybe Robots too...my BF and I are dorky little kids at heart.
I am going to have a long chat with my 2 year old godson Joey about his firt "poop on the potty" I guess he is dying to tell me! May sound gross, but I think it's totally cute!!!!
