My sister ran into the waiting list issue. She emailed again and said that it's for a gift and that she needed to know how long the wait would be. They sent her the go-ahead later that day...
I'll keep y'all posted on what I receive.

It's a subscription service through which you get samples (usually deluxe size and caliber) sent to your door once a month. My sister and mom gave it to me as a birthday gift. Apparently, it is a Thing. There are YouTube videos in which subscribers show off what they received and try to anticipate what they'll get next month. I haven't received my first shipment yet, but I'll let you know what I get. :)
I really want to do this! But every time I try to sign up, I just get some message that says "spaces are limited, we'll email you when there's a spot open for you" so I'm still waiting...

In general, I have mixed feelings. They send a hand ful of items (like 5) that range from food, to nail polishes to foundation.. from very small, to deluxe sized. Each month, I find one item that I love and don't care for the rest. My fave item thus far has been a full sized beautyblender sponge. This month it was Boscia face blotting wipes.
Here's mine. Got it 2 days ago. I'm happy with this one. I haven't sniffed the fragrance before. I need others to help me diversify my nail polish collection, I love most kinds of hair oils, and the big surprise is the clothing tape. I was just wearing a top that was driving me nuts. I was thinking of giving it away, but tape will totally make it wearable!
In my profile, I made it clear through my answers (hopefully) that I'm well versed on product, and I am, therefore, not going to be dazzled by the so-so.
I love the surprise element, but I'm glad it was a gift.
:)
It's for 11 months. You accumulate points toward full-size purchases. I've watched a few videos, and I have been impressed with the sizes and caliber of the samples. One woman got a Nars multiple, a Nars illuminator, and a 3-piece fragrance set from Benefit from a few different boxes.
Woo! Finally got the email that I could join. I know that it's $120/year for samples I don't get to pick....but I'm alright with paying $10 a month to try a bunch of little samples - I love playing with trial sizes of stuff!

I just tested the frag. It is lucious and intriguing, and I'm not a super citrus fan. It smells like you're drinking lush, fresh squeezed orange juice while sitting in a fragrant garden on a warm day. I can't wait to wear it for a full day and really put it through the wringer. Here's its profile on Fragrantica.com.

That sounds wonderful for summer. I tend to gravitate to grapefruit scents personally, but I'd choose almost any citrus over other notes. Something light and orange would be so refreshing on a hot summer day.
It sounds ridiculous but it actually is a good way to try new products and I have definitely received items that are basically full sized (like the beauty blender ) so it justifies the $10.
This month was a disappointment as all my items were "natural" aka boring.
I'm not a big nut for natural stuff either. As I mentioned, I liked the frag, but that's a given. I actually liked the color of the bronze stick, but the texture isn't great. The Be Fine (or whatever it's called) products fly in the face of my current skincare routine, so they're kind of out. The oil is so highly fragranced that it's almost like another perfume. I would have to wear that by itself or else it would clash. Smells good though. I love bergamot.
