I'm taking a motorcycle class in a few weeks so I bought my helmet today. Got $100 off the style I chose by getting the 2010 version with the terrible graphics. I plan to cover it with black and white stickers which will still be not very beautiful, but hopefully less awful than this.
Also: shopping for jackets is hard! They all have terrible graphics all over them. Purple flames and pink flowers and hearts and crosses and rhinestones and stars. Ughhhh. I didn't get a jacket today because I couldn't bring myself to drop so much money on such tackiness.

I just bought a one-shoulder LBD from Zara that I plan on wearing out next Friday for dinner. No pic online, but it's a pretty basic, form-fitting one shoulder little black dress. Also bought a silver leaf necklace from Zara, no pic online either but it's fairly substantial, two leaves coming together in the center. They had a pastel enameled piece that I kind of wish I'd gotten.
I haven't won it yet but I'm bidding on this 3-piece set to add to my drawer of pretty. I kind of fell in love with the grey.
Oh, almost forgot. Bought these shoes & I love them!

- SUPER COOL single breasted military-style jacket, black with dark red piping and dark nickel buttons. It looks like it could have been part of a band uniform but the fabric isn't tacky and it's fully lined. Label says "Ames," which means nothing to me.
- A short cotton dress/tunic with a sash at the waist, v-neck, in a black/brown/red/tan boho print. Never worn or washed. It has floppy hippie sleeves which I will fix (shorten to cap sleeves, probably). I don't really own sundressy things, so I thought it would be handy in the summer. I can also wear it with a cardigan and tights later.
It is nice. I am wearing it on my fingernails now. It's sheer, so I layered it over an orangey-red (that I don't use alone because, well, it's more orangey than I thought). It will be good on toes in the summer.
I also dropped $25 at ELF on 15 items total, including one of their higher-priced studio brushes, gray liquid eyeliner that is almost always sold out, and other random junk.
PSA: Today they have a Groupon ($15 for $30) but it's only good on their studio and mineral lines.
