I agree, I thought that Ellie Kemper hit this out of the park. The rust color complimented her hair perfectly. And her earrings were the prefect touch. To me, this was how you do sexy (take that Angelina "Look I have a thigh under this dress" Jolie.)
Gweneth Paltrow. As much as it pains me to say (because she annoys me to the extreme) I really thought she looked good last night. I loved the asymmetrical neckline. And I also loved the idea that she could wear the cape on the red carpet and take it off to present.
Mila Jovovich. I like the neckline and loved her hair. Not quite sure why she was presenting the tech awards unless they knew most of the tech people loved Resident Evil?
Ones I didn't care for:
Jennifer Lopez. To me this look just screams "trying too hard." And yes, I'm pretty sure when she was presenting you could see a bit more than you were supposed to.
Viola Davis. When i saw her in this dress, first I didn't even recognize her. Second, I figured that it would continue the trend of the best actress wining in ugly dress. Wrong on that account at least. But she does have fabulous arms.
Stacy Keibler. Good thing she already has a boyfriend.

I have to disagree :). She was actually my favorite of the night I thought she looked stunning!

Well, that's fashion for you. Everybody loves something different. I just really hated the bottom part of the dress. The oddly placed diagonal V shaped ruffle in combination to that circular ruffle and all the pleats distracted from the gorgeous top of the dress. That bottom part ruined it for me.
After reading some various articles on her, I do give her a lot of respect for not wearing a wig. I did like that she had the confidence to wear her real hair and thought it looked great.
I feel like so many dresses just felt "meh" to me this year. I didn't outright hate very many, but few were very impressive either.
Viola Davis - She looks great, the color looks great on her, but I just do not like a lot of the details of the dress (like the oval ruffle on the skirt and the line where the sequins stop on her bust) Michelle Williams - Not a fan of this myself. I don't like the skirty thing around her hips and I don't like the bow - although I think I could be alright with the bow if it wasn't paired with the skirty thing. Ellie Kemper - Awesome! Angelina Jolie - I would have loved the dress if she didn't always stand so goofy in it. Jessica Chastain - Love!!
Emma Stone - in pictures I'm not a fan, but I watched a clip from the Oscars and I really liked the dress on video.
Miley Cyrus - She always looks so old on the red carpet!
Rooney Mara - I like the overall feeling of her look, but I don't like that bust detail.
J. Lo - Eh, I don't hate it, but it just seems very "Jennifer Lopez" to me - which is fine and might have been exciting on someone else, but it's kind of boring on her because I feel like she wears stuff that looks like this all the time.
Mila Jovovich
Cameron Diaz
Kate Mara

Yeah, I didn't mind the detailing of the dress...I thought it suited her.
I actually also really like Emma Stone's outfit...
I hated this...
I think we can ALL agree that we hate this dress. Miley is only going to be a young girl once. Why waset it trying to look like she's going to a CMA award show in 1989?
