Winter Wonderland - by anyone really, but I have Johnny Mathis. He does Christmas music perfectly.
Aaron Neville -The whole Christmas Album, but specifically, O Holy Night - actually, I really love the version that the kids are singing in Home Alone, but I'm not sure you that it's on the CD that way. This reminds me to look!
Harry Connick Jr - his When My Heart Finds Christmas album is my absolute favorite Christmas music, but my favorite songs on it are: When My Heart Finds Christmas (i want to cry just thinking about it!) (It Must've Been Ol') Santa Claus and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, goosebump rendition of Ave Maria
Oh, I must get out my CDs & start decorating! That's it!!!!!

I like that 80's collaboration w/bono, boy george, paul young etc. I think it was called "A Very Special Christmas" and "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" by Gayla Peevey.
I like the chipmunks christmas song... creeesmas creeesmas tiiime is heeeere... time for joy and time for cheeeer...
I've also always liked God Bless Ye Merry Gentlemen, and Good King Wenseslaus (sp?), Carol of the Bells, Drummer Boy.. wow - I'm getting in the xmas mood thinking of these songs...

my ultimate christmas cd is "white christmas" by bing crosby. my family listens to it on repeat every year- his voice is christmas to me. my favorite song on that album is "Mele Kalikimaka." cute hawaiian vibe.
some other favorites: silver bells, i'll be home for christmas, it's beginning to look a lot like christmas, winter wonderland, carol of the bells, and o holy night (so pretty!).
my favorite non-traditional christmas song is "all i want for christmas" by mariah carey. is that what it's called? it's the one that the little girl sings at the end of "love actually." and it's the only mariah carey song i've ever liked- it puts me in such a good mood!

I was just going to post this! Love this song! I'm such a nerd. I have the Mariah Carey version and that girl's version.
I'm a fan of old school ones like Andy Williams (my favorite Christmas CD), Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horn. Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma usually have a mix Xmas CD with those artists on them.
As for actual song, maybe Let It Snow, since it doesn't snow where I live in NorCal and snow always seems so Christmas-y.

Also on the Jewel Christmas cd, "Joy: a Holiday Collection" (it's good, okay?) there is a version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that is acapella with Jewel and someone else singing harmony (my brother swears it's Jewel's mother, but I'm not convinced). I listen to it on loop.

Ahh, I used to have that song on a record when I was little! You can hear Dave yelling at Alvin in the background. Man, I wish I still had that record. I believe my mom sold it in a garage sale
