I have a miserable cold with a stuffy yet runny nose and my breath is so hot, no fever though (which is just great for tomorrow's drafting class. I'll be having to look down as I draw while my nose is dripping snot. Ugh!!) and my breath is so hot, no fever though. Anyway, what have you guys found to help you with the symptoms? I have some DayQuil that doesn't seem to be helping. It's been suggested to me to take a couple of shots of tequila and bundle up with some blankets and try to "sweat" it out. I think I'll just be drunk with a cold then? Please help
You might have a sinus infection - I get those and one of the symptoms is the breath thing... I know this is kinda gross, but do you have any thick stuff in your throat? Or any dull pain or anything in your face? If you have either of those symptoms in addition to the breath, you might want to get to a doc and get an antibiotic- they're the only thing that gets rid of a sinus infection (but the good thing is, it clears it up really quickly w/ the right meds). Otherwise, I recommend a lot of water and juice, lots of sleep, and watching 90210 reruns during the day on soap net :)... it's the only thing that will keep it from getting worse. During the day, Tylenol Cold & Sinus might help cut the symptoms a bit. Good luck- I hope you feel better!
Oh no... what a bummer. Do you have to be any place tomorrow? Maybe you could take like half a dose of nyquil or something to help you sleep a bit, but not make you too drowsy tomorrow. Unfortunately, it sounds like sleep is the only thing that will nip this in the bud. It's amazing what ten hours of sleep can do for you!
I think I had your exacy symtoms a few weeks ago and, I lived off of Tylenol Cold (the daytime and night time) daily. It really helped a lot except it made my throat and sinuses so dry so I kept sucking on candy and drinking tea. I hope you feel better
Thanks girls, I ended up buying some of those new TheraFlu medicated spoon dosings that you stir into a drink. I have no class tomorrow so I'll be sleeping (hopefully) all day.
