This is going to sound crazy, but back in 2008 I saw these Frye boots that I fell in love with but never bought.  They were called Fiona.
Here's a pic:

I was too cheap to invest in them but I have thought about them every single fall/winter since, and believe it or not I have not been able to find anything that comes close. Frye doesn't make boot this style anymore I guess.
Has anyone seen anything similar?  I like the low heel, the color, narrow/adjustable shaft and good quality leather.
I am hoping to buy one pair of boots with my Christmas money & I would love them to be like these. On sale if possible? A girl can dream right...

Have you tried Ebay? Any of my Frye boots or shoes I've bought through Ebay (actually I have my Campus pair on right now.). Usually they are used, but I've also gotten a few NBW shoes. You'll also probably save a little (not much though) money.

I did a quick search there using Frye Fiona as a search term and it brought up quite a few of them. I'm not sure of your size though.

Thanks Boots - I love eBay and have tried it. I even have a saved search for these (I'm a 6.5 or 7 btw). The problem is Frye made a couple of different styles named Fiona - not sure why! One had buttons, the other had different straps, and yet another was only mid-calf. So while it appears there are some, none of them are like the ones I posted above.
I think at this point I'm better off giving up on finding these and settling for something similar. If you see anything let me know & thanks for taking a look for me!

I just wanted to update everyone: waiting on eBay finally paid off. Years after pining after these boots, a virtually unused pair popped up on eBay and they are now mine!
Best of all, I paid $68 for them! Woo-hoo!
