Oh, but you can!!! All that volume is extensions. The superblonde is hair dye. And the versatility? Ms. Simpson can thank hair stylist Kevin Paves for his fabulous work on her hair.
Haha... I know, I know. I've known people IRL with hair like this naturally (that was just an example). If I only had my very own personal hair stylist...
1. My hair is a very dark brown (almost black) with "peanut butter and jelly" highlights aka ruby red and a dark carmel (peanut butter). It is layered, with the longest layer hitting the bottom of my shoulder blade and some pretty short layers hitting about 3/4 of the way down the back of my head. My stylist just did this to my hair and I love it--the highlights work perfectly with my dark hair and my skin coloring.
2. My hair has not always been like this, I've had it shorter to about chin length, I had it longer with long layers before this cut I have now, I've had it medium length with long layers. Sometimes I wear it curly, sometimes straight, sometimes wavy. I've had shorter bangs, no bangs, and now long side bangs. I've had blondish/carmel highlights, all one color, etc.
3. My hair is so thick and curly/wavy. Sometimes I wish it were easier to blow-out straight. Many times the first day looks a little too "voluminous" and then after 2 days it lays just perfect--but then I feel gross since I haven't washed it. I honestly don't dislike having thick/curly hair, I just wish I could style it easier and that it would lay just right when I want it to.
