27-year-old Michael Pratt was at a Tampa area movie theater with his date, when he asked her for the keys to her car. Thinking nothing of it, she gave him the keys to her 2012 Ford Focus. It would be the last time she ever saw him.
When she called Pratt, he answered to tell her "I stole your car," before laughing maniacally and hanging up on her. The 35-year-old woman, who probably won't reveal her identity out of sheer embarrassment, actually tried to reach Pratt for two more days before calling the police. That's just sad.
After four days, he finally let her know that he ditched her car (which was a rental, by the way) in the parking lot of aNew Port Richey Walmart. Police eventually caught up with him, and it was revealed that Pratt had already done time for grand theft auto. Some people just can't escape the life.
Look at this dude though, would you trust anyone with a magenta faux hawk and neck tat of a spider? Seriously, where the hell did she meet him? Her self-esteem must've really been in the toilet, and who knows where it is now.
I'm sure we all have our share of bad date stories -- what's yours?
