I am eager to start looking around. I know KaffeeKlatsch is organizing but I though I'd put the standard poll up. I'll come back and get my answers in... Favorite Color? Neutrals (ivory, camel, gray, black). But I love red and have weakness for leopard print lately Favorite Beauty Brand? I love to try everything, I'm a product Junkie Favorite Hobby? Crafting, cooking, Jewelry making, shopping Favorite Food/Snack? Coffee, wines, I love fun candies from areas outside the US lately me and the girls have been hunting down fun Japanese candies. what DON'T you want? Candles, bath and body products. What colors do you usually use to decorate your house or room? Neutrals mostly tan and black or dark brown, with some red/burgundy accents, kind of rustic style What kind of jewelry do you like? Simple I never really know what to say about myself. I'm a stay at home Mom, of two girls, and I really love taking care of my family. I love cookingand baking, and lately I've been really having fun making cute bento lunches for my girls.

Before we get all excited, do we even have enough people to make this work? I only saw a few answer to the last post about wanting to do it.

OK, so I guess I can officially post my response now.

Favorite colors: Green and Blue. I like royal colors better than soft pastels. Not just to wear, in general as well.

Accessories; I don't have pierced ears so I obviously don't wear earrings. I love simple, delicate pieces for necklaces. I do like big honking cocktail rings (LOL, that what my SIL and I call them at least) I have really small wrists/hands so a lot of bangles fall off me, but smaller sized bracelets/cuffs fit fine.

I love clutches and small bags.

I have a new little nephew, Owen, that is just the best thing to ever happen to me (and our family.) He is just the most perfect thing in the world to me. I am enjoying the hell out of being Auntie Marie (I let him call me my real name. Well, I will when he can talk.)

I'm a reader. History, travel, fiction, cook books, mysteries, sci fi, bios. You name it, I read it.

I really enjoy cooking and baking. I'm the type who will wander around William Sonoma or Crate & Barrel for hours just looking. I'm trying to get into baking fresh bread more.

Makeup- I'm fair skinned (pale Irish) with brown reddish hair. I'm definitely cool toned. I am a lip gloss junkie. I seriously might need an intervention (or just a purge of my make up bag.)

I absolutely love coffee. When I travel, I always make sure to grab some local roasts to take home with me. I really love it when somebody shares their favorite brand with me too. But I don't believe in decalf.

I like learning about wine and have been getting into craft beer. While drinking it is fun, I also enjoy learning all about how it was produced. I also enjoy learning about locally produced food (another thing I always check out when I travel.)

I like music. Love jazz, classic rock, swing, some alternative (like Mumford & Sons, Foster the People, Franz Ferdinand), new music like The Black Keys, 80's music. Basically, I'm pretty open and am always looking for something new to listen to especially when I work out.

Also, while I may conceal it pretty well (read major sarcasm here) I'm a total geek. I love comic books, Star Wars, and many things that people associate with "geek." One of my SILs said to me recently that I may dress like "a pretty girl" I'm really just a "geek boy under the clothes." Whatever, I like myself too much to worry about pretending that I don't enjoy the things that I enjoy. I have a sense of humor and like the absurd.

What I would rather not have: I'm not really into things that smell (like candles.) I have enough bath gel & lotions (although if you know of a good unscented cream for dry hands that will fit in my purse, I'd love that.) I can't wear earrings.

And to my SS: A pre thank you! I know how great all the people here at ST are and I certain that no matter what you send, I'm going to be delighted.

Favorite colors: I've been really drawn towards grays and greens this season. But I also really enjoy obxious loud brights as well.

Accessories: I don't have pierced ears and I hate the clack, clack, clack noise of bracelets knocking against the keyboard so those are both out. I love necklances though. Gloves would be good, I keep thinking my fingers are so super cold. I have a black jacket and wear a kelly green scarf.

Big dislikes: nothing scented, at all. I'm fine with lotions and body washes just not scented. Other than that, I'm very happy with anything.

In general: I love reading and just bought a Nook Color. I'm also a big video game girl, but stick with the fantasty, role-playing genre. I love swinging swords at monsters. I really enjoy baking and cooking and am always on the search for a new beer to try, generally in the darker porter and stout varieties. I just moved to Portland, Oregon and I'm still enjoying the whole "rains all the time" thing, I'm a puddle-stompher kind of girl. What I'm not enjoying  is still having stuff in boxes. We gave pretty much all of our furniture away when we moved so unpacking boxes is dependent on having places to put the stuff but I'm really having fun decorating a new place.

I think that's about it...I'm super excited to start shopping and looking around at all the fun hand-made, vintage shops that Portland has.
