Is it just my NY&CO or do they always run out of smaller sizes?
I worked here when I was in HS almost 7 years ago and we never had enough stock of the small sizes and lost a lot of potential sales! We always ran out of 2-4-6 right away. When it came time to putting stuff on sale, most of the sale items were 14-16. We got a lot of complaints from a lot of customers. You would think in 7 years, they would get the clue and stock stores with a healthy amount of sizes.
Their sizing also runs big, I stalked my NY&CO for their teal velvet blazer and grabbed a sz 2 & was so happy I scored an amazing deal on it. I have to return it cuz it's too big! Do they carry size 0? They make me feel anorexic when I'm normally a size 4 everywhere else.
I'm so right there with you on this. The only thing I can buy from there is their blouses. The pants are cut super curvy and baggy. :( And I did the same thing with that teal blazer...so sad...it looked so great on the hanger too. :(
I hate to be the party pooper, but this is one of the few places I love. As a curvy girl, there aren't many stores that I can go in & buy pants that give me room in the thigh / butt area. In a world where it feels like all the pants are cut for people with terrific figures, it's kinda nice to find a store that has pants that are cut generously! I think you skinny girls have plenty of places to shop for pants!
BQ - my sister is a 0-2 & she always says the same thing about NY&Co - that they run out of the small sizes immediately. I do feel bad for her since this is one of the few stores at her terrible local mall (anchor stores are a Dillard clearence store & Sears )

Oh, I so agree!! I can never buy anything in there b/c it's cut a on the larger side and they run out of the smaller sizes the day they put them out. I need an XS shirt in there and usually a 2 or 4 bottom, but can never find them!
