Does anyone here have them as your ISP, and if so, how do you like their services? B/c currently I have had AOL (free for a 6 mo. trial period, and that expires SOON!), and they're OK for the most part, but MAN - the monthly fee is a little outrageous ($23.90/mo.). Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too familar with them but i remember that you live in texas so you ought to get SBC DSL if you have their telephone service since its only $15 a month!!
WOW - you remembered I live in the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS, huh?! LOL Well, I have SBC Yahoo DIAL-UP on our living room computer, and when I got on there one day, that's WHEN my computer caught all kinds of viruses, spyware, etc., and I haven't logged onto it since then! I guess I'll just stick w/AOL, thanks lsubatgirl.

We had PCEZ when we had dial-up. It's a small, Portland-based business. Our connection was always suprisingly fast (for dial-up ) and their customer service rocks - we were once on the phone with them for 2 hours trying to clean up a virus and they didn't charge us a dime. Oh and they fixed the virus too . We stayed with them when we moved to Spokane, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work elswhere. It's around $15 a month IIRC, and you can choose to pay in 3, 6, 12 month increments and it gets cheaper the more you pay for at once. If you cancel and still have already paid for months left, they cut you a check for the remainder.
Thanks, I may check w/these folks when I get home; I called AOL, and we can get high speed, but we'd have to purchase a satellite from them for $399.99, so I'm not 100% sure I want to go that route, but dial-up is just TOO DAMN SLOW for me, I've been dealing w/it, but I really prefer high speed, since we live in a rural area...... LOL
