I wanted to say congrats also  Like Scarlett, I though I would add my 6 month story:

I had lived/visited almost every state except Florida.  We decided to go there for vacation, and I was excited because I had never been to the ocean. Our first night we went down to the beach and settled down on an old log.  As we sat there a shooting star went across the sky and he asked me if I wanted to make a wish.  I had been twisting and turning with the idea of saying I love you, so my secret wish was for him to say it first, lol. 

He turns to me and says, "I'm glad I'm with you for your first time in Florida, first time on a beach, and the first time I say I love you..." The I love you came out in a hurry and he pulled me close while he was still saying it.  So when I said it I was pressed against his shirt and it came out mumbled I wuv ew to
