I was a shopping machine over the weekend.  It's either feast or famine with me.

thumb]this shirt from H&M only in a maroon color.  I've been looking for a shirt to wear with a mustard skirt and the maroon looks lovely with it.

Ah everyones shopping is making me jealous!  I want to buy fall clothes.  But we are re-doing our main floor living area so alas that is where all the shopping is going.

This sofa and loveseat, I wont be keeping the blue floral throw pillows.

This rug

And a gallon of paint in this color, for the wall the sofa will be sitting against

Now I'll be hunting fabric to recover those blue floral throw pillows...

That SO good to know. I've heard some mixed reviews, but mostly positive, so I was hopeful. I figure it's 100% wool so it should hold up well. I just need to keep my cat from clawing at it and creating runs, darn trouble maker.

Thanks!  I wanted a leather skirt so bad this year, but just couldn't justify spending $$$ on one.  I got this for a song and it fits nicely.  I think it'll be perfect for my SIL's 40th b-day in November.  I'll snap some pics.

 

IAPT- I love that color for a wall.  It makes me happy in a cozy sort of way.

IAPT- the rise is medium. I have on my COH skinnies and they have the same rise. I'd say about 15 inches or so? I tried on a few other Paige and I think that they were lower rise because they gave me a little muffin top action . These fit perfectly.

I somehow spent $50 at the fabric store. I know I bought gray poly shantung to recover three pillows for my bedroom, and two yards of black chiffon with narrow white and red stripes, because it was on clearance and I'll figure out something to do with it. And zippers/thread for the pillow and red thread and a retro tomato pincushion and I don't know what else.

A new TJ Maxx opened up and we bought DH some dress slacks and a couple of shirts for a business trip next week. Of the 4 pairs of pants he tried on, I think I put the wrong ones back, and bought ones that didn't fit. So I went back today, forgot to bring the exchanged pair, and bought two more pairs for him to choose from. Because I was jealous I bought this Kenneth Cole top for $17 w00t:
