Does anyone have a mascara they'd recommend other than Diorshow? I tried that and it's fine, but I don't think it's anything outstanding. Any other rec's? Has anyone tried Revlon's Fabulash? I hear good things about that one?
Fabulash tends to make my lashes a bit spider-like. I prefer Max Factors 2000 Calorie Aqualash. IMO 1-2 coats is good for daytime, and 3-4 is like wearing falsh eyelashes! Definitely my favorite .

I've been pretty happy with L'oreal. I've tried the feather lash waterproof and the panoramic curl. I like them both...I'd have to say the feather lash waterproof has the best results. I have tried the regular feather lash and do not get the same results.
well, i use the diorshow and its pretty fabulous, but I dont know if its that much better than the max factor 2000 calorie that i used to do. I would say LMonet is pretty close--4 coats for outstanding lashes. I think it can get a little flaky/clumpy but nothing too bad, the waterproof version probably would help with that problem. if it helps any, when i used to use the 2000 calorie I got a lot of compliments on my lashes, which means a lot since w/out mascara my lashes are pretty puny.

It's not that I don't like Diorshow - I have no beef w/it, but my question is, what's so fabulous about it exactly? Maybe I'll just stick w/it since I have no issues w/it. I just didn't see what all the fuss was about it either.
shopchicago33 - MF 2000 Cal is basically a cheaper version of Diorshow (at least from my oh-so scientific experiments ). Could save you a few bucks in the long run if you like it just as well .

i second the feather lash waterproof -- it makes such a big difference to me -- usually it's the only thing i put on before i go to work.

hmmm..2000 cal and diorshow are pretty much the same. they both get the job done. But i do like how huge and fat the wand of the diorshow is. I usually switch between my diorshow and 2000 cal.
i really like cover girl multiplying. it is thickening and lengthening, and it costs $6. i have really fine blonde lashes and don't leave the house without a large amount of mascara, and this one is my favorite.
Dept Store: Kanebo 38 water resistent mascara. This doesn't run or flake or smudge, and it really does just wash off with soap and water. Knocks the pants off DiorShow!
Drug Store: I love CoverGirl mascaras! I find some drug store mascaras to be good when first out of the tube, but after a week, they clump and don't separate as well Dept. Store ones. Definitely try CG Multiplying mascara and Maybelline Lash Discovery are two of my favorites.
i'm a believer in lancome's mascaras, no clumps,no flakes, stays on, does not make my lashes brittle i'm using flextencils but i want to try this new one
Another vote for lancome. It's the only kind of mascara I've ever really used. Once I found it I stopped looking for anything else. Love it!
