I'm back from Seattle . . .and. . . .


 


 


 


 


I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


 


I applied for a supervisor position in our company, but during our conference meeting w/our clients my head boss said I was going to be the Account Manager not supervisor of their project.  Our clients literally fell out of their chairs and my current manager almost chocked on her water.  The clients are a little uneasy because to them I'm just a regular employee skipping over 2 required positions and flying straight to the top of the ladder.  I'm really nervous because I need to learn not only a supervisors role, but also the Account Manager role in 2 months.  I don't know why the head boss gave such a short timeline, I still feel like he might have been mistaken.  But I'm very excited, I get to travel and have more flexibility and benefits, but it's a very stressful job.  I honestly didn't see myself in the Account Manager role for another 5 years! 


My dad jokingly said to my mom yesterday, "I guess you had too many people praying for her, because she got more than she asked for".  Thanks girls for all your thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!!!  It worked!
