Well, I am up 1/2 pound this week. That's ok. My total weight loss is still 22.5 pounds. Haven't really followed diet thi week, been too stressed out. Planning on doing better this coming week.
For the first time, I can finally fit into a size 16 pants at Old Navy. It may sound dumb to celebrate that, but while I could wear a 16 in every other brand, ON, Gap, and Banana republic eluded me. But now other brands I can wear a 14.
Gosh, Irene, I am so proud of you! You're really sticking to this and doing a great job. Your pace of weight loss is ideal, too - almost 2 lbs a week is healthy and means you're more likely to keep it off in the long term.
The fit of clothes is key, so don't get too hung up on the scale from week to week as it doesn't always reflect what's going on in terms of fat loss vs. muscle gain. Something i always need to remind myself of as well....
