What do you wear shopping?

If I know I am going to be trying on a lot of casual tops, I will wear a cami/tank with a built-in shelf bra--just makes it so much easier for me to constantly change in and out of clothes. I like to wear jeans and comfy shoes. Last weekend I wore heels shopping and by the time I got home my feet were so angry at me (I don't wear heels that often).

depends...if i'm going to the mall by my house i just wear whatever i have own, that's presentable. (the nicest store is arden b. so i don't really feel like i have to try). if i'm just bumming around the city, i'll wear comfy shoes and jeans, but still try to look stylish. if i'm going hardcore shopping (like i know i'm planning to try a lot of stuff on) i try to wear stuff that's easy to pull on and off. lately i've been wearing knit gauchos and these nikes with velcro closures. not very impressive...

If I am meeting friends, I'll wear jeans, a cute top and risk comfort for cute shoes.

But if I am alone and power shopping, then it's all business - jeans, a cardigan over a cami (to minimize pulling things over my head - yuck) and pumas.

I try to look really nice, because it makes me less likely to buy things(clothes anyways). If I dress like a slob I am more likely to buy clothes just to make myself feel better.

This way I can easily see how things would go with my current wardrobe - otherwise I'm constantly standing in the dressing room going "Hmmm, I should have grabbed a shirt to try on with this cardi/blazer/hoodie/sweater."

Then I do big jewelry - makes a statement like fabu clothes but more comfortable for the marathon shopping I usually do .

In typical malls, no one cares how you're dressed as long as you spend money

I make it a point to wear a plain white tank under a comfortable zip up --- easy to take on and off without having to pull it over your head...I just leave the tank on. Plus jeans and whatever shoes are most comfortable, flip-flops or flats or sneakers. I always try to wear something that comes on and off easily. Like, in the summer, I'll wear a skirt.

I live in New York now so there really aren't malls, but I also don't do a lot of upscale shopping. I usually dress for the weather and not for where I'm going unless it's a special occasion. I've been in the Prada store (the one on Broadway that doesn't have a sign on it because it doesn't want "laypeople" knowing it's Prada) and tolerated the dirty looks. I didn't really care. Plus I didnt have the money to spend there anyway!

Well, seems weird, but I go to the Malls, I feel like I have to dress up more - maybe a nice looking dress, flats (comfy shoes), little bit of jewelry. BUT! If I'm just going to dept. stores - shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes.

I do dress up more for nicer shopping centers. Like I'll make sure to carry my Louis Vuitton bag.

Mainly what determines how I dress is how much/what I plan on trying on. I wear shoes that don't have zippers or buckles when I plan to try on lots of shoes. When I plan to try on tops I don't wear layered tops-- too much to straighten out while putting my clothes back on.

long scarf (it's winter in LA - so I need to wear something a little cold weather)

I don't really mall shop that much cause I live near really great shopping districts - but I think I would dress like this at the Beverly Center or the Glendale Galleria.

If I am meeting up with friends there, I will wear jeans, heels or boots, and a cute top. I don't worry so much about wearing clothes that are easy to take on and off when I am with friends because I tend not to buy a lot when shopping with others. I might pick up a cute top or some jewelry, but I never really get into shopping in a group.

If I go alone, I usually wear whatever I wore to work or jeans, sneakers, and a top that is cute but easy to take on and off. If salespeople want to ignore me because I'm not dressed up, they are making a big mistake.

I try to to look decent, but not overly done. That way I will get decent service, but not look like I got all dressed up to go to the mall.

I'll usually wear jeans, ballet flats (my favorite right now are my gold ones), a beater or a cami and some kind of cardi or blazer. I usually wear minimal jewelry (usually just earrings) so that it doesn't get in the way of trying on clothing.

If I'm going out for dinner or something and then shopping, I'll dress up a little bit more.

depends on what I am shopping for. If I am shopping for clothes, the I usually wear a Gap Stretch T and jeans, with slip on shoes so I can easily try on shoes.

When I am Christmas shopping, I kind of dress up, but usually with jeans. During this season, you never know when you are going to run into someone you know. I always wear comfortable shoes though, so I usually wear low heeled boots or flats.

Yesterday, I went to the mall after a morning yoga class (and it was cold outside), I was wearing a gray sweat suit with a white Gap tank, black flips and carrying my big burgundy Coach purse! Sometimes I just don't care, right? But I kept a low profile by parking and entering at JCPenney (to shop for my son's clothes) and hoped I didn't run into anyone!

I usually get a little dressed up, I live in rural ON. so I don't I get to dress up often. The shopping outfit I had the BEST luck with was probably the sloppiest! Skinny jeans tucked into sweater boots, my brothers zip up sweater (way too big for me) a pink cami, and oversized black hobo bag with little silver ball things on it. Weird!!!!
