I know all of us are guilty of repeat buying.. buying the same things over and over again, but I know in some of the repeat cases... I'm my search to find something perfect. Sometimes I'm not ever able to commit to an item because it's not the materialized form of this perfect vision I have in my mind.
So the question is: What are you always loooking for??? The Perfect _____ ?
Also if you have seen a perfect ____ please post it! :)
Just thinking about my search for the perfect "whatevers" makes me sigh.
-The perfect red leather bag -The perfect warm wool winter coat with a hood and with sleeves that are actually long enough -Like dot, the perfect foundation -The perfect pair of jeans
*perfect skinny jeans that are understated, dark, chic, and flatter my not so skinny thighs
*perfect moisturizer/skin cure so i can get perfect skin
*perfect pencil skirt- sexy yet pulled together, preferably with hot detailing- usually the ones i like are some random indie brand in Lucky for like $300, not sure if its worth it to me for the use i'd get out of it =/
*perfect slouchy trousers, every material for every season
*perfect cashmere/wool sweaters that are unique enough that not everyone will have them and are well-made and somewhat classic- i know this is $$$
*perfect investment bag, as well. I like chloe bags and the gucci one that carries is getting, but i'm not ready yet to plunk down the dough (maybe in 6 mos?), so i could be sick of these bags by then
My "perfect..." list is always on high rotation, but right now it's the perfect:
casual winter coat
scarf... I had the world's most perfect scarf two years ago. It was green and thick and long and warm and cozy, everything a good scarf should be. I lost it at the end of last winter... big bummer.
brown casual boots.
underwear (maybe TMI )
open neck, baggy, long sleeved, white tee shirt that says "I just threw this on with jeans and I still look this good!" I have this image in my head and I've never been able to find the right tee to pull it off.
Chunky sweater tights. Apparently either no one makes them, or they don't bother to ship them to stores in SoCal.
Boots. Because of my large calves, I am always looking for the non-extended calf variety that fits me perfectly. I feel like extended calf is like having plus size calves.
Foundation/concealer.
Jeans. I'm currently looking for the perfect trouser pair.
The Winter Coat that I can wear in Los Angeles without looking like an asshat but still wear in the East Coast and be warm.
The Investment Bag that I will buy before I turn 25 and carry for the rest of my life (Chanel? Celine? Chloe? Someone Else?...who knows?)
-the perfect dark denim skirt. I bought it a Gap a year or two ago and it is the perfect length: not too short, not too long, and I always look casually pulled together when I wear it.
-the perfect metallic flat. Also from Gap. I wear them at least once a week. They are casual but really step up an outfit.
I can't find a pic, but they look like this, only mine crisscross over my big toe and the trim is gold:
and no seashells.

the perfect pencil dark denim skirt (one drunken night i ripped my perfect one from BCBG that i got like six year ago)
the perfect red Marc Jacobs heel(i just think MJ makes pretty red shoes)
the perfect denim pants
the perfect black bag (i had a looooooooong thread about this earlier this year, i think i might like the paddington in black, or the fendi spy, or chanel???)
