does anyone have any recs?


i would like to read it to see what buttheads crazy mother is thinking sometimes...


i would also like your opinions on the situation that i will bring up while i'm not at work.

the whole co-dependent label was big in the 90's or late 80's.  My mom read a bunch of books and was always quoting them.  I can't remember any of them, but I have to say that I gained a lot of insight from the analysis.


I am not up to date on the circumstances you are referring to with butthead, but my knowledge of the co-dependency stuff comes from history of alcohol abuse in families, even if your parents didn't drink, if there was an alcoholic in their parents lives, the effect is passed on.

i almost have a masters in psych, so i knew a bit about this stuff. 


buttheads dad as well as his parents and buttheads crazy mom are all alcoholics so that fits in as well. 


but thanks to dizzy for the book rec.  i just bought it. 


wish me luck.


i may talk to some of my old professors too.
