Since my last job interview, I've moved out of my parent's house, got married, had a baby, moved 3 more times, and now I can't find my resume!
I *think* the last time I saw the floppy was in my old room at my moms (now occupied by my brother). I'm going back home today to search one last time & if I don't find it I have to start from scratch. This really bums me out cuz the resume was really good. My former co-workers super smart & clever hubby was nice enough to put it together.
i feel your pain. i have to put a resume together for bschool and i seriously haven't looked at mine in 2 years. i think i saved it on a floppy, but i'm not sure where that floppy is. my older brother formatted it for me, so i know it would be totally appropriate, and i seriously don't want to have to put it together again from scratch. especially b/c formatting is such a pain in the ass.
No . . .and I interview tomorrow. . .However . . .My supervisor said she doesn't need one cuz she has the one from when I got the job 3 yrs ago. I'm not about to ask her for a copy. I'll be interviewing w/her and our main boss, who is new and I wanted to have it to show him my professionalism. I'm still debating on whether I should whip one up real quick before tomorrow afternoon, but I'll run the risk of it turning out like crap for rushing. Plus I did submit the required company's internal app. which I put a lot of thought & work into it.
i don't think you should worry about whipping one up. if she has one, then the new guy will likely get a copy from her. a totally different one you do now may just confuse the issue.
by the way, i have a really good feeling about you getting this job! just stay confident and believe in yourself and they will too. good luck!
