I am going to be a magical fairy with wings and my bf is going to be a scary winged beast with a scary mask. We couldn't find a couples costume that he really liked so we figured if we both have wings, we'll coordinate b/c he'll be like the scary "anti-fairy" or something :)
I don't have pics b/c the costumes are from a local store, but I can post pics after Halloween with us in them!
I am going to be Alex from "A Clockwork Orange", but a girly version. So I am going to wear black knee high boots with a super fitted white pant suit. Of course I will don the hat and the eye lashes. I just hope that it turns out as well as it is in my head...
We're heading to a costume baby shower, and we have to be dressed as mothers of some sort, so I am going as Jocasta (complete with a basket of chocolate eyeballs and a broken brooch on my dress) and DH is going as King Kong's mother (ape mask, all black outfit with a frilly apron and brandishing a rolling pin).
I wanted him to dress up as the Virgin Mary and then put a sombrero on, and he could be Madre de Dios. But he is being a party pooper.
Argh! I have no clue what to wear. My son will be going as the Cookie Monster. I definitely need something low maintenance so that I can carry him when he gets tired of walking.
I don't think we're going anywhere, but we do like to dress up our dogs...mostly for our own enjoyment and that of the neighborhood kids. We are thinking of one of these for Halley:
and for Sully...

halleybird- you HAVE to take a picture for me. since i can't have a dog, i have to live vicariously through you.
as for me, i'm going to be a nurse.

I changed my costume idea! I'm now a 1950s car hop girl, complete with poufy dress that says "Junior's Diner" on it! One of my friends suggested I complete the outfit with roller skates, but my Halloween plans involve drinking and this just seems dangerous, no?
My bf is still going to be a winged skeleton beast. We don't coordinate at all, but oh well!
halleybird--i want to see pics of your dogs--those costumes are so great. the best part of halloween to me these days is seeing my neighbors' two pugs dressed up. last year they were aliens. so cute.
i think (if i dress up) i want to be a WW2 nurse--like kate beckinsale in "pearl harbor." i'm going to ask my hair lady if she can do me up like that.
