Ok so we're going to South Africa for our Honeymoon and we have a concern. Can anyone tell me a good adapter for over seas so we can recharge things such as our IPod and Video camera? We have a small electronics one from Tumi but it's more for blow dryers etc. We're just not quite sure what we'll need.

When we lived in Europe, the one I had to use for my blowdryer was bigger than what we needed for things like charging a phone, etc., so I think if you're sure your convertor can handle a blowdryer, you should be fine. Do you need 220V? Just remember, an adaptor is different from a convertor. An adaptor will only change the plug to fit in the round European ( and probably S.A. type plugs). It won't convert the voltage and will fry your appliance and probably cause a short-circuit.
Whatever you do get make sure you check the instructions carefully. I have one that I had been using to charge things, and after I read in the instructions that it's only good for heat producing appliances.

Most recent electronics shouldn't need a separate converter, just a plug adapter. You can usually see on your charger stuff whether your appliance works on both. I can't remember what they run on there, but it should say whatever our voltage is / their voltage. Haha, that probably makes no sense.
