have you tried soaking it in water with a bit of oxy-clean dissolved? you might have to leave it for a day, then change the water and add fresh oxy-clean and soak it for another day. my mom has had luck getting red wine out this way, you just have to be patient with the soaking.

i haven't used it but have seen it in wine shops and online. they have free shipping. we bought it at a winery once but got a little tipsy and left our bags of treats somewhere.

Seems like I've heard somewhere to ice the stain first (I've used this on a white shirt I got blood on.  Just rub an ice cube over it for 5-10 min.), and then club soda.  After that I would probably try an Oxy Clean type product.  Good luck!
