Yeah, I thought this episode was a bit boring.

I don't think Matt is gay just because he went looking for a transgendered person to hook up with. He could just be confused and is trying to figure things out. Also I don't think people who have relationships with transexuals necessarily identify as gay.

But anyway, I hate Matt. I had a little sympathy for him when he had the self-circumcision mishap but then he just became so annoying and freakish and now he's downright scary.

The guy who wanted his tattoos removed was a gang member who had decided to leave the gang in order to get a regular job. Each tear represented a person that he had killed. I didn't pay much attention either but I assumed that the guys who beat him up were members of his gang who were pissed that he decided to leave. Hopefully someone else can clear this up.

That's the impression I got from the whole gang member thing too.That was just a bit thrown in there,don't ya think? no more background about it,like him recieving threats, or something to give it a little more backbone.Anyway...

I just about woke up my son by laughing so hard when Julia found her mother smoking weed.I did NOT expect that!!!

next weeks episode does look more interesting.Anything to do with Christian is HOT HOT HOT!!! But I have to wonder when the carver will strike again. If Matt does get sent off to military school,that counts him out as the carver,since he wont be around that much.Hmmmm,wonder if they'll start giving us a little clue...

by the way,did anyone notice that Matt left a small patch of hair behind his left ear? Guess that's just the hairdresser in me.All well...hope next tuesday hurries up.

I personally thought it was a pretty good, but creepy episode. And if they are going to have Christian and Sean operate on someone or something with a strange sircumstance every week, are they ALL going to die?? First the fat lady, now the gorilla??

Kind of sad. I don't think Matt is the carver. He is way too sloppy and erratic. THe carver is very smart and controlled and percise. Everything Matt does makes me hate him even more! He is sooooo mean to EVERYONE! And will ANYTHING affect Matt in terms of how he sees Ava? I mean, my god the woman slept with her son, slept with someone her sons age, Christian (well, almost) and she was a man!!! But everytime Matt finds out one of these things he thinks everyone is lying and then is like, oh well, I still love her. I hope he goes to military school. He needs a swift kick in the pants, and I am glad those trannies gave him a taste. I could have done without the pee

but whatever.

What was that book that his mom found? Was it about masculine females? It was sort of confusing.

I agree that the show wasn't as amazing as usual, but I still thought it was good. The book Julia found on Matt's bed had something to do with transexuality-so I guess matt is just confused and trying to learn more. I agree that he needs to go to military school and get straightened out
Oh and I did notice the small patch of hair left behind his ear..it really bothered me all night...i just wanted to take the razor and shave it off

hey girls, so ya, last night's ep was a tad creepy. i couldn't watch matt beat up the transvestite. that was just too over the top... and i know i'm a hypocrite because last week i was preaching how n/t has always been over the top, but really, this is just TOO MUCH!!

boy, i was glad he shaved his head tho... HUGE improvement! i didn't notice the hair behind the ear, but i swear he left a small patch on the hairline above his forehead. i kept waiting for him to go back and fix it, but it never happened.

i thought the story line w/ homie g (don't remember his name) was well developed. i thought it was clear that his fellow homies tracked him down so they could beat him up. i hope they continue his storyline because i got the feeling that sean would find some way to help him (in getting a job).

i hate how they kinda abandoned the carver storyline just because they want to drag it out til the end of the season. OH, and dead adrian???? SICK!! i did NOT need to see that! and why would ava leave him there?? wouldn't she at least call 911? that's kinda weird!

matt pisses me off. i was glad when he got beat up.

my friends and i were wondering what if the nurse lady is the carver? sometimes she is really bitter about beauty.

I really liked the last scene where both baldies were running from the gang of *men* looking to beat the shit out of them. It was rather operatic.

I laughed out loud when the grandma tried to hide the bong under her shirt. That's so stoner. And it was obvious Julia was not used to hitting a bong. She was so awkward at it!

As for Matt being gay or bi-curious or straight or whatever, I'm not sure. I'm curious as to why he got so mad when he so very obviously picked a tranny who looked incredibly masculine. And transexuals/transvestites are different in their sexual identification/orientation. Not that that really matters but just a little food for thought. It's a whole different world than gay or straight.

And frankly I don't see why Matt was so surprised the woah-MAN! knew how to "touch" him in just the right ways (or gave him the best blowjobs as he so eloquently put it). I would think people with similar sex organs - at least at some point - would be the most familiar and understand them most. Hence I think women would probably be better at oral sex on women, etc. Seems perfectly logical to me. (Doesn't mean you want to have sex with your same sex, just that it makes sense why they'd be better at certain things than the opposite sex.)

But I thought it was a good ep. I wanted to see more about Christian though!!! I adore Christian.
