Sopranos daughter Jamie-Lynn DiScala and her husband-manager, A.J. DiScala, have split up after two years of marriage, he tells New York's Daily News.
"As of right now, it's a separation," A.J. DiScala tells the paper, adding that there's still a chance for a reconciliation. "Anything is possible."
No word yet from Jamie-Lynn's camp. A friend of the couple's recently confirmed the split to PEOPLE, saying, "They were like Paul and Linda (McCartney) – they'd go everywhere together. That they haven't been together recently says a lot."
The 24-year-old actress – formerly Jamie-Lynn Sigler – met DiScala, 34, at a basketball game. The pair dated for two years before getting married July 11, 2003, at a splashy outdoor wedding before hundreds of guests at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, PEOPLE reported at the time.
Back then, Sigler, a New York native who began acting as a child, told the magazine that she planned to be "a young mom," but that children would have to wait, because she was still playing the teenaged Meadow Soprano on the HBO series.
Last year, in March, when Jamie-Lynn was promoting her USA Network TV movie Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss, she told PEOPLE: "Married life is wonderful ... he makes me realize that this is a job. It's difficult to keep grounded in this business, and I think had I not met him, I'd be having a much tougher time dealing with that."
I was thinking the same thing Shankel - all of a sudden, it seems like everyone in Hollywood is splitting up. It's not much of a shock, but why do they bother getting married at all? All they do is relationship hop.
It seems like all the stars are either breaking up or having kids...not a great combo in my opinon.
P.S. Her husband looks like that type of greasy guy that would come up to you at a bar and try to hit on you while he was wasted, with a visible tan line where his wedding ring should be. Eew.

No, see, that's why so many are fake and baking it. Because you can take the ring OFF for the tanning and put it back on after. Hence no tan line. It's a right-clever little trick.
ugh, well since the Hollywood trend for the past five years or so has been to marry young and marry royalty style (getting a big engagement ring, having a multi-million dollar wedding) and then making babies with odd names....it all seems so surreal to me and it's no surprise that there might be a bunch of Hollywood divorces all at once in the downfall.
I keep hoping against hope that we don't hear that Witherspoon/Phillippe or Simpson/Lachey break up. And maybe Spears/Federline will prove us all wrong too. huh.

I would be so devasted if Reese and Ryan broke up. I think that they are a great couple. They also stay out of the spotlight for the most part so that may help their relationship.

Yeah, I love them. She's always seemed like she's got a great head on her shoulders, and a great heart too. Hope they stay together.
