This has been sitting in my cart since january and I finally got it to make cookies for Easter. Of course as I pull down the photo today, it's $7 cheaper than when I bought it Saturday.
Mmmmm! I love pizzelles! My Italian grandmother used to make anise ones; they were the best. This is one moment when I wish DH didn't have Celiac Disease! Enjoy the pizzelle maker!
Wouldn't taste the same with such a delicate cookie. It could definitely be done, but I would hate to stray from the original in this case. Other pastries and desserts, yes! I think it's more about the memory with the pizzelles. :)

Yeah, I get that. I've had to alter most of my recipes for my son so I definitely know.
Wow, didn't know the pizzelle maker would be so exciting ! I borrowed my SIL's at Christmas and decided I needed one of my own. I made some chocolate chip ones and a really yummy cranberry orange batch. I'm excited to experiment more with it.
Yesterday I went to the bathroom at work and saw my face under flourescents for the first time since I put makeup on that morning. And I realized that my foundation doesn't match my face anymore. Yikes! I was especially stressed because I am a bridesmaid in a wedding next Saturday and we are doing our own makeup, so I had to find a good replacement, fast.
I went to MAC right after work for some help. It was a pricey trip but the makeup matched my face perfectly.

Found this Theory dress at Loemann's. After all the extra clearance % off and my coupon I ended up getting it for $53.00. Please excuse the extraordinarily messy room. One more week and tax season is over and I get my life back.
I was looking around the lands end canvas section of my local sears- and there were a few styles of mens shoes on sale for $6.99!
I got these pairs for my brothers (original price $98!!!)
definately worth a look if you are in the market for them
edit: went back to sears today to make an exchange.....and found these lands end canvas suede heels on sale for $6.99 also! I actually cancelled an online order for these a while back- got the black and the grey

Thanks. I'm a little nervous to wear it though. I've never worn a strapless dress (well, strapless anything) before. But I just could pass up a deal like that.

Yeah, I can't wear strapless at all. You could always put a little cardigan over it. Perhaps you could put a blazer on over it for a business look? I think by adding different tops you can wear it for different occasions.

I've been in a shopping mood this month - and it's only the 15th! Oh well...
Sperry Top Siders in metallic gold. So not me, but I was oddly drawn to them.
Thanks to the 15% off VIB coupon, I got:
And 2 items from TJ Maxx, which of course I can't find online:
A steely blue Cynthia Rowley tank with beading st the v-neck and a banded waist and a little ruching. Hoping it looks great with a gray balzer over top for dinner.
A black and white horizontal striped Calvin Klein blazer. It is suprizingly flattering and in a cottony stretchy ponte like fabric, so it fits really well in the waist and stretches over my chest.
