I loved it so much, I bought a second one so I'd have one in my gym bag. I use it every morning in the shower, and most nights before bed (lazy nights I use make-up removing wipes).

The replacement heads should be replaced about every 3 months, so you can hold off buying them right away. Sephora sells a 2 pack for $40, and singles are $25, so it is a savings to buy the 2 pack. I also stocked up during the Sephora Friends & Family event last fall, FWIW.

I use mine with whatever facewash I happen to have. They recommend you use it with whatever you like, so long at it doesn't have rough particles in it, but bugging beads are okay. I will say that a foaming face wash is too much for me. I get bubbles up my nose. So, I use a creamier facewash. Purity and Cetafil (sp?) are popular washes, and work well with it.

I've never used it to apply lotion. But, they claim your products should absorb better and therefore work better.

Personally, I think my skin is in much better shape now that I use it, and I am very very happy with it. If you are on the fence, I'd buy from somewhere with a good return policy, and if you don't like it, you will be able to return it.

I agree with everything GD said. I bought mine with a gift card during the FF sale in November and I'm so glad I did. My skin seems softer and I get less breakouts. I have larger pores around my nose and even they look better. I believe some of it has to do with a an immediate deeper cleaning from the device and some of it from the resulting better absorption of my product line. I didn't change my products so the results have to be from use of the Mia.

I only use it once a day, at night to remove my makeup and clean my face. In the AM I use daily mild scrub since the Mia does not exfoliate (I use Neutrogena Acne Wash Foaming Scrub.) At night I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Wash with the Mia. I rinse the Mia's brush head well with hot water and let it dry overnight on my dresser. So far I've gotten 5 month's use out of the head and it doesn't look any worse for wear. This might be because I only use it once a day, as opposed to GD who uses it 2x a day. I am planning on changing it soon whether it looks like it needs it or not. I also recommend the duel packs since you'll be saving money (I use the soft head since I'm not using the Mia on my body, just my face.)

The only down side is that you need to remember to charge it every 20 days or so. And it can take all night to charge. So I mark a reminder on my calendar and let the device charge overnight when the time is up.

I don't think I'd try applying moisturizer with it. I think it would be messy and more product would end up on the brush head than on my face. Right after I clean with the Mia, I apply a Clinique product for fading brown spots then I apply a moisturizer. I think this is probably a better technique. What you're striving for is better absorption.

@Boots - I don't want to hijack the thread, but I noticed you mentioned using a Clinique product to fade brown spots - What product is it? Does it work? Would you recommend it?

I've been using Clinique Even BetterClinical Dark Spot Remover 2x a day since November. I'm on my 3rd bottle so you get about 2 months out of a bottle. I'm fairly please with the results. It doesn't erease the brown sun spots, but they are noticably lighter (I started seeing results in about a month of use so it takes time.) I don't think anything beyond a series of medial treatments will permenantly erase the spots. The other good thing is that i haven't developed any new ones since I started using it. You have to be diligent with sunblock too (I always was, but I think this plus the serum have prevented any new spots from forming.)
