Hi guys. So I'm going to NYC the week of April 6-11. I was hoping you could help with suggestions of what to do, where to shop, what to eat, etc. I'll be staying with my dad at his apartment in Yorkville, on the edge of the Upper East Side. I've been once before, but was sick and overwhelmed so all I really did was go to Katz's (yummm by the way!!!). I won't have a whole lot to spend, so def no trips to Barneys or anything
I really appreciate any and all suggestions! Oh, by the way, I'm going to see Warhorse at the Lincoln Center on the 8th for my dad's birthday, so a dinner recommendation would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Never been to New York, but I find the site Metromix.com really helpful when going to a new city. It lists all the restaurants/events/attractions with reviews. Maybe you'll see something you like?
i've been there 3 times to visit my aunt and i'll be going again in a week. i love nyc! fun things to do: visit ellis island and the statue of liberty see the twin towers site visit the museum of natural history, the metropolitan museum of art and the museum of modern art. walk across the brooklyn bridge go to coney island and walk around visit jones beach. we've gone at many different times of year and it's lovely anytime walk in central park visit central park zoo visit the bronx zoo walk around chinatown and little italy. one of my favorite things to do! go see times square
i tried to include things that are cheaper to do, since you don't have a whole lot of money to spend. hope that helps!
