Bare Minerals for pale girls

I am pretty pale. I don't like the sun and have no tan. I am not quite ginger pale though. I am thinking of buying Bare Minerals foundation in the Fair. I have tried the light and it is way dark and the fairly light is dark too, though in a pinch at night, I can pull it off. On Sephora and on QVC and on the Bare Minerals web sites, the colors look sooooo much lighter than they actually are. Has anyone tried the fair? How pale is it actually?

I use the fair. If you saw me you would agree I have pale/light skin, but I'm not the fairest person you'll meet. It is unusual for me to have to order the lightest color a brand sells, if tht helps you. Sephora has an excellent return policy, so I say go for it.

I'm pale and I find Bare Minerals way too orangey for me. I've never found a good match in mineral foundation.

First of all - HEY! Welcome back!

I always have to use the lightest makeup shade, in any brand. I used Bare Minerals a few years ago and got the lightest one of that and I don't think I had any problem with the shade.

But I stopped using it because it seemed weirdly sparkly? I recently started using Neutrogena Mineral Sheers in Classic Ivory and I really like it - not sparkly, and the perfect shade, too. HTH

Thanks for the replies ladies. That does help a little. I had planned on ordering from ebay, but I think I will go to Sephora just for the return policy, JIC.
