Jennifer Aniston was on Oprah this morning. I haven't watched it yet, so please don't respond w/any spoilers. I'm planning to watch the rerun tonight. Just wanted to make all of you aware.
I thought it was a great show. Love the new set. The interview with Jen Aniston really made me like her. She seems like such a sweet, down to earth girl.
The Hermes guy didn't say whether or not the rude employee was fired or not. Anyone know?
Oprah gives $10 million to Katrina funds! Wow.

I believe he said he sent her to a training class or something like that!
I wish she would have devoted the whole show to Jennifer Aniston. I felt ripped off that the show had so many topics. Also, I think she could have asked JA better questions even without focusing on Brad.

I absolutely agree!

couldn't she have asked JA if Brad and her are friends? the tabloids say no, but to hear it from her would have been cool. she should have asked her about Angeling too. but maybe JA told Oprah what not to ask?
I'm sure JA told her what to ask and what to not ask..
it seemed to staged. bleh..
and I'm soo completely done and irritated with Oprah.
That stupidity she did with bringing the president of Hermes on the show to publicly apologize. I mean who does she think she is!?! yuck. Get a life and get a grip. The world does NOT revolve around you. You could tell he really didn't want to apologize the woman did nothing wrong! Oprah was being a regular diva self and was upset that no one catered to her big a$$ ego.
argh...
I most be PMS'ing that upset me more than usual hahhahah!
I agree with Ayo. By all accounts the store was closed! It's of course possible that it was racial, but there are a lot of other possibilities too. And that's ridiculous to bring on the show. Take care of it on your own time, we don't care.
I think Jen accomplished exactly what she wanted - to show she's over the break up and she's ready to date again. Did you hear how bezerk the audience went when she said that? Now, when she's seen around town with a new guy, everyone will say, oh yeah, she's got closure she said so on Oprah. Public validation. It was such a softball interview.
And the Hermes thing was a joke - Oprah kept the guy from stepping on a HUGE landmine, when he almost said "but we didn't know it was you!" I loved the collective groan from the audience.

I agree with this. We all expected this big explanation but I think it was smart of her to give just enough information so people can move on and let her be.
Oprah didn't force the Hermes guy to come on the show and apologize, I believe he did that voluntarily(sp?). I thought that it was funny that she made it clear that people were calling and writing her to ask whether or not they should still purchase and carry their birkins.

LOL- if i had a birkin, i would never stop carrying it over this stupid incident!

Ditto. I was already pretty much over Oprah and her ego anyway, but that whole Hermes thing (calling it her "crash" moment - Please.) I love JA, but I can't bring myself to watch Oprah.
You'd think maybe the Katrina thing might have given Oprah some perspective. Alas, I am unable to watch anything she does - including her Katrina stuff - without suspecting some self-promoting aspect.
