I agree that Lush sucks. I bought a bag a while ago (maybe > 6 months ??). So I am not sure if things changed, but here is my experience: The bag was described as 100% leather. The bag shipped from China - so it took 2 weeks for me to get it! Nowhere on the site did it say the bag would ship from China - so I was annoyed. When I did finally receive the bag, it was semi-"pebbled" except the raised "pebbles" were leather but the flat background was definitely not leather. And the other side of the bag was not leather either - it was kid of like moleskin or fake suede. So when I asked for a return b/c the bag was not leather, the sales person said there would be a 20% re-stocking fee......+ I had to pay for shipping back to China! Honestly this bag was SO horrible.....
So I decided to donate the bag to the Salvation Army. The bag itself was $40. I would have received $40 - $8 restocking - $15 to ship to China = $17!!! And I decided I hated them and refused to interact with them again.

Wow! Thanks for filling us in. That bag sounds terrible.
I ordered a "so-called" 100% genuine leather bag from lush (it's pleather) and it's already falling apart and all the edges are fading to white so you can't even tell it was seafoam colored! The overall feel of the bag is cheap and the only good thing about it was that it came really fast! Course they charged me double for it "accidentally" and I had to call my bank and clear that up which was a big hassle...A waste of my hard-earned money too I highly DON'T recommend lush
I decided I will post two pics. My bag at 1 day old and my bag now at 3 months old...I do not throw my bags around or treat them badly, leave them in the sun or anything, and after you see this pic, no one will wanna go to lushfashions.com anymore, I promise. I'll go take the after pic right now
As promised...The pictures of my ugly bag...*sigh* Here is my bag the day I got it! Whatever the coating they put on the bags is, it only lasts like 3 months and then mr. bag turns to papery white stiff yuckyness no girl would want to carry around!
That's the only before picture I have, now for the after ones I took 10 mins ago... In Conclusion... LUSH SUCKS!
Wow, AmyLizz. That's BAD! I was thinking about getting the black one, like Halleybird has. She's had great luck w/ hers, though. Wonder if it's the color. I'm just shocked at that!
cricket, i also have the black, and it's held up pretty well, although the leather could be a bit better in terms of quality.
www.nessaleestyle.com also has lush biker bags, and they have a reasonable return policy and as well as a coupon code (lovejess for 20% off), so you can see it yourself and return it to NJ and not all the way to china
