Thank you, DC, for posting.  As an agnostic, and a HUGE believer in the separation of church and state, it has become more and more upsetting the ties that our government establishes between God/religion and being an American.  I don't believe that the president should ever call for "prayer."  He may call for a national day of reflection, a moment of silence, etc...but the words prayer, God, etc, should not enter into the political/government arena.


Thank you again for bringing up a topic that I feel very deeply on, and that I feel hasn't been addressed enough in this country.
