morning ladies, so i was starving in class last night so i broke down & ate a piece of pizza at break. then when i got home i ate another no sugar added apple turnover
Escrime - IMO whoever measured you this time must not have done a very accurate waist measurement! From your posts it looks like you eat well and exercise pretty strenuously - I don't understand how it's possible that you gained?
B: WW toast w/PB, coffee
S: 1 piece of banana bread
L: Hot dog on WW bun, carrots
D: 1 Fajita
E: None today - must go grocery shopping and power clean to prepare for company that's arriving tomorrow. On second thought, I might be able to turn the cleaning into some kind of workout ...

LMonet: I have a tendency to be kind of bad on the weekends. I think I overdid it this past holiday weekend, and I haven't been as vigilant about my eating as I should be.
Hopefully, getting back on track this week will help, but it was really discouraging.
I was measured today. From two months ago, I have lost 3/4 inch on my butt and a 1/4 inch on my upper arms...but I gained a 1/4 inch on my waist. B: Coffee and Cereal L: Sandwich D: Salad W: 1 hour weight circuit-- Edited by Escrime at 15:08, 2005-09-07
I can see how it might be discouragine to gain 1/4" on your waist but look at the really amazing work you managed to do elsewhere. Losing 3/4" on your butt and 1/4" on your upper arms is not an easy thing to do. Those are some of the hardest places to lose inches and if you did that, you know you must be working really hard. Maybe you just toned up some ab muscles and that explains the increase there? Or perhaps it was water retention? That could easily produce a 1/4" gain in the waist area. I think you should be super impressed and happy about the arms and butt measurements - I'd be doing cartwheels of joy. (If I ever learned to do a cartwheel, that is.)
