Wow, it was so much better this time. If any of you are flagging a little, keep reading!! I got so excited as the story went on (bit of a geek). You too will love Mr.Darcy.
Now, I reallllllly want to watch the BBC production again. Gaahhh, why didn't I buy it the last time I saw it ?????

I haven't finished the book, but I just wanted to say that the BBC movie is EXCELLENT. The casting director did a great job and it's good to see the action "in real life," because you pick up on so many things they said. There's a lot of sarcasm/wit in the novel that you don't really notice until you hear them saying it. The movie is like 6 hours though IIRC.

I watched "You've Got Mail" this weekend and I forgot that it was a loose remake of P&P also. I love the scene where Kathleen (Meg Ryan) goes into Joe Fox's (Tom Hanks) bookstore and is amazed by how wonderful it really is - even though he's the enemy. I think it's a great rendition of when Lizzie visits Pemberley. I love Joe Fox and Mr. Darcy.

Wow, I never thought about that before. I'll have to watch it again sometime.
